Anyone in the Indianapolis area building one?

I am very new to CNC and think it would be irreseponsible to spend a bunch of money making a machine like this without first getting some first hand experience. If there is someone in the Indianapolis area that would be willing to be somewhat of a mentor on the Mech Mate, I would really appreciate meeting you and seeing your machine or see your work in progress.
