West Texas Build

Hello from Abilene, TX. My name is W.L. Jaggars and I am a commercial electrician for the past 18 years. I have a small business where I build pigeon lofts and quail recall pens for bird dog trainers http://www.wljaggars.com
I build 50-60 units a year in my home work shop and ship them all over the US.
I have exhausted my productivity using all the tricks and tools I have at hand and need to get cnc capabilty to keep up and expand. I build the same thing over and over and work with 4x8 sheets of MDO sign plywood and Moisture resistant MDF.
My goal is to be up and running by next year given time and funding allow. I had the plans printed and bound on 11x17 sheets and officially spent my first $35 on the project today. I have lots of reading yet to do. I have no cnc experience but I'm ready to get some. They say "the laziest man will take the hardest job and find the easiest way". I say it's the "wise man"!! I'll be in touch.

Welcome WL, you will never regret coming here. Don't be shy to shout out for help. We are all in this great learning experience together.

There is a treasure of information here in the forum & no reading is ever enough. Even as my MM is working now, I still never fail to find more info to improve myself & my MM.
