Not loosing steps but???
Hello every one:
Y have a cnc machine with rack and pinions,if i cut a 10 pcs of 100X100,y have one 100,another whit 99.....The strange is that the machine dont loose steps,it can cut for a hour and the machine come to home exactli. Can some one help-me please. Thanks |

Have you checked for a loose pinion gear? Its also a good idea to have two set screws 90 degrees apart. If you do not have two flats on your shafts, grind the second flat for the second set screw 90 degrees to the first.

Hello Mike,no its not a mechmate,but the rack and pinion itīs basicly the same think.When i made it i dont know about mechmate.....sorry.
