Starting Up in Atlanta ga.
Hello all
Been reading for a while and lurking ,finally decide to flip switch and start planing. Purchased the plans this week and will be putting together an electrical /electronics shopping list soon after more research. Shooting for a 60"x 120" table as part of my fabrication with the machine will be custom acrylic aquariums with the majority being stairs and cabinetry. I havw average welding skills and mechanical abilities and 25 years of custom stair, cabinetry and interior trim experience. I am excited about the build! Thanks all David Kimbrell

WARNING to all the new builders of this fantastic machine :
Just watch out...this thing is not a PROJECT...it's a lifestyle...Really addictive. I think I will be booked into a rehab program soon..

I can see how it gets a little addictive. I was quizzing a friend about his shopbot and before it was over he was asking me about the mechmate!
