A question on DWG Plans for MechMate

I know it’s probably a legal issue or something but I would like to change the sizes of the table and do some 3D assembly construction in Solid Edge V20. For me being a engineer it makes things easier if I assemble them and test them in 3D cyberspace. I also work in inches which I can transfer back to the plans etc, and print out my custom sizes instead of white out and scribble marks.
Any way it’s just a question it beats pulling them off the pdf and converting them (not as accurate as the original dwg files) is there a full set of the MechMate available?

Regards,

Mark in Michigan

The few people who have built 3D CAD models, used the .dxf files for the laser cutting as their starting point. It is actually pretty simple to build from there.

For bent plates, cut along the bend line and get inner surfaces to touch at the bend line.
