Plans won't download?

From what I can see no one else has had this problem. I cannot download the plan pdfs. When I try to download the files I get a file number that adobe does not recognize. When I right click on the file select save file as,I get a choice of (*) or all files I do not get a choice of downloading as pdf. There
is obviously something simple I am not doing or havn't done. Advise please.

Paul

Paul, this is a bit greek to me: "When I right click on the file select save file as"?

You must right click on the file name as it appears on this forum. Then the first screen below appears. From there you do normal clicking on "Save Target as...."

The next screen should appear only briefly and then replace itself with the last screen. There you pick a folder to save the file in, then press "Save".

Are you seeing the following three screens?

Downloading plans

I have apparently solved my problem, I was using a download accelerator
and for some reason the sequence needed for download was corrupted.
I have succesfully downloaded the files.

Thanks,
Paul

Enrique,

I wanted to see what kind of problem you are having.

So I went to the Dowload page. There I clicked on, "Drawing Plan files for downloading - this is where you get the drawings" which took me to a new page. On that page there are 5 PDF files you can download with the plans. I clicked on the first set and a new window came up asking if I wanted to save, open, close.

Where in this process are you having problems?

Enrique, all that I can suggest is that you try another computer. Those files are downloaded by about 20 to 30 new people per day without problems. Your problem of going back to the password request is new to me - there must be something unusual about your computer or service provider.

You could also try another browser, like firefox, safari etc. Or also try to empty your cache and cookies and try again. That helps on some computers sometimes.

Can not Download

Help!

Hey Fellas, I'm having problems downloading Part1.PDF and Part3.PDF. It seems that those teo file will only download to approx 2mb and not the full file. Each attempt produces an error stating that the file is damaged and can not be repaired. I get the same message whether saved or viewed.

Has anyone had this problem? Did you resolve it and could you describe what you did to fix it? Thanks!

Tom,
Some things to try. Try another browser. Firefox, safari, opera, Internet explorer (cough ). Or try to clear your cache and cookies then retry the download. Also you could use a download manager, downthemall is a good one for firefox and it will do a real good job of getting a good file for you. Good Luck.

Same thing

I tried to down part 1 and 2, using the "right click. . ." and EVERYTHING. Will only down to 2M instead of 2.15M and if you try to open it PDF says file damaged. Do yoy have a corrupted set of files? Tried three times and cleared the cash each time.
