Swivel head for knives
Hi Guys
Months back there was a short discussion on one of the builds about BOBs and suppliers. Someone supplied the link to supplier they were happy with. I followed the link and looked through the suppliers website. Nice site, and they also supplied a stepper powered swivel head. Which I thought was pretty cool and made a mental note. But not a bookmark. (Which was pretty mental) I have been through the market place list and have not found it . I have tried all kinds of search terms , no luck Its in here somewhere. Would be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction. Regards D |

No, that is not it Ries , very interesting though! Thanks for responding.
http://www.axyz.com/opt/primary.html Go down to the video of the oscillating knife describes it better. Knife's T axis (tangent) is controlled by a stepper that works off the x and y direction to keep the blade parallel to the direction of travel. The reason I'm after this is because of a popular eco board called Xanita. Best way to cut it is with an oscillating knife. D |
