Swivel Head for z axis

So far I see only one post bring up the ideas for Tilt and Swivel head for Z axis. I am planing to adapt MM to use as panel saw besides router function. I don't need the tilt head to make the control easier. So all I cut will be either horizontal or vertical.

Do you have ideas where can I buy or make swivel head to mount motor/spindle?

If you are going to cut panels does it matter if it is horizontal and you use the router to cut them?

The reason some of the panel is quite thick and it put much pressure on the router bit. It will be a smoother and faster cut if I use saw blade. It is just an idea at the moment. If I can find a swivel head, so far haven't find from the yahoo search.
