Is the Main longitudinal beam Taper Flange or Parallel Flange Channel

Hello,
I would like to know if the main longitunal beam taper flange or parallel flange ?

It can really be whatever is available to you as long as it is rigid. Most used a taper flange.

Taper is technically stronger if the sizes are the same however it adds other items to deal with if you choose to bolt through using a bolt and nut. If you choose to tap the hole it is not an issue, if you don't I recommend using wedge washers as they are made to keep the nut parallel to the surface tension that it applies. I used tapered flange C-channel as well.
