Just Getting Started - Oran Algeria

Hi all
this is belmekki getting into it ''the mechmate''. I have been following almost all the discussions in this forum on the mechmate. And I finally got about one year ago "hit" by this machine construction. So far I started hardly to gather the pieces and it is not an easy job to do here in Algeria "Oran precisely". I will post regularly what I have reached in the construction soon.
thanks Gerald for sharing this marvellous design with us third world countries.
bye now

Hi all, here some photos of the mechmate. Started it about three weeks that's for assembly but for the cut pieces and all the rest of the stuff, it was a long run over a year.
On the second photo you may have noticed some bolts near the motor plate. This because of a misalignment in the plate welded on the spider. So these bolts will push the motor plate holder and align the pinion on the rack the result was good!
