Need help with high school class

Finally the high school ordered a 4' by 8' CNC router. I need some jobs that will get the kids attention. X needs to be less than 20" so I can run them on my machine before I take them to the school with a run time less than one hour. Material will be foam, plywood or mahogany and less than 5" thick. You can email them to me at akransom@tx.rr.com Thanks

Art, does this high school have logo's, emblems, mascots, or such-like that can be converted to signs, shields, whatever? Do they need signs for the carpark, headmaster's office, lab, washrooms? What about a memorial wall where students (past-students) can buy wood bricks (small signs) engraved with their name/year, to raise funds.

Which router did they order?

Teasers

The school logo is a belgan tiger. They bought an EZ Router running Mach3. EZ Router is located about 100 miles from here and they cut the school a good deal. Not really interested in signs etc for the school but something that will show them what they can do with the machine once the learn Auto Cad, VCarve and other pacakages. If they come up with something they want to make then they will work like hell to learn to learn what they need to do it.
