mech mate copy ??

I was thinking about building my own mate, (and still may) but ran across a used shopbot and bought that.

I ran across this in the local craigslist for sale.

I thought you may find it interesting.

That is from a guy that joined the site, downloaded Gerald's plans, learned how to build a machine, took a logo design from another member and went out and started selling the TrueCNC machine as if he designed and created it with out giving credit to Gerald or Sean. He has no character.

He was unable I guess to sell the machine from his website so now he thinks it will sell there.

Thats kind of what I thought it was, but I didn't know if Gerald would like to know about it or if there was anything legally he may want to do.

Well, we could all go to that posting on CL and "flag" it as spam or prohibited. When it reaches a certain number of flags, it will be deleted! The flagging function is in the upper right corner of the screen when you open the listing - just click on the category of flag you like and it gets automatically logged.

Once it's deleted, we could then use an RSS feed, like Snarfer to look for attempted reposts.

That was the first machine he built with help from this forum. Guess he built himself a bigger one. How do some people sleep at night?
