Photos of cabling management requested

Has anyone got some photos of how you managed the cabling from the cable chain to the end of the Y gantry? The drawings show the box duct but did any of you use saddles or rack or tube? Pleas post photos of your cable management at this spot.

Also, how did you run your umbilical? Did you bundle it in some corrugated flex or core drill through the floor and onto rack then back up to your board. Did you drop it from the ceiling on tied to a pole. If you ran on the floor did you use mechanical protection for you umbilical cables, pipe, ramps, false floor? post photos of how you avoid trip hazards and your umbilical.

Thanks

Dale

Dale,
I have used two solutions.
The first, I came out of the x cable chain and turned down to the floor.
Once on the floor, I built a plywood cable ramp about 12" wide to keep signal and power separated until it got to the wall with the control box mounted above.

Second machine, just bundled all the cable into a nice festoon and swag to the wall which was about 24" away on the "non person" side of the machine.

I'll look for pictures later on the home PC.

I used PVC pipe to the end of the machine and my enclosure is located not far from the end of the machine.

I used Non-Metallic Liquid Tight conduit and connectors. Electrical supply houses sell various sizes. It lays on the floor. After several years it remains undamaged.

Does anyone know of a good way to get my mac pro 30 away in another room?

The firewire and USB I can figure out, but has anyone found a good dual monitor dvi cable? Or wireless?

Thanks,
Shaun
