Does the spring pull the motor tight against the rack? Or is there some obstruction that holds the pinion a little bit away from the rack?

There is no obstruction.

I have tried everything I could imagine, before asking.

Replaces original rack for another (that left the Z axis) and noise is the same.

I am lost.

Appears no affect the operation, but I think that a noise can be eliminated ...

Yuri,

I believe that I have a noise in my rack also. Can you post a video clip on youtube with the noise. I have not looked at the problem for some time but I think in my case the rack is not square to the pinons.

Which rack are you noticing the problem on? Mine is on X.

Yuri,

You might check as Nils said about the pinion being square to the rack. Also, if there is play in the motor mount that could cause misalignment. I think I had this problem and just needed to tighten up a motor mount.

Nills and Mike,

Yes my problem is X, but in only one of four rack.

Mike, I believe there is misalignment or screw loose.

Moving with the hand (without engine coupled) noise appears in only one rack. I changed to another rack and continued noise.

See this old video (I'm no camera to make another video)

Yuri,

I watched the video, hard to tell. Your machine seems to fast. You might slow things down and see if it helps any. You might also check the kernel speed, In Mach, we set it at 25000Hz. I had this set wrong and was having problems, Changed the setting, and it cleared everything up. Keep us posted.

Thanks Mike,

The speed at which it makes less noise is between 9.000mm/min and 16.000mm/min.

Below 6.000mm/min there is a huge noise.

I hope that the reduction belt (to be 2,66:1) noise decreases. Maybe

Well, we have since found some faulty (badly made) racks in Belgium. . . . . . suggest you have a very close look at the teeth of the noisy rack and see how they compare to a good rack. Use a magnifying glass or a close-up photo.

Maybe it's the lighting, but some of the teeth in the second picture seem to be different widths on the points.

Can you completely remove this screw and try for the noise again?

Irfan,

This is the origin of the "table" - a door.

There are rumors that you do not see the interiors because it is not ready

Irfan,
Dont laugh too hard, I have 6 workbenches in my shop that all use old doors as the main platform. They were cheap, as in free.

We replaced some old workbenches as work with nice new ESD compliant benches and they were throwing them in the dumpster. So I loaded two each day and then I have 6 now in my garage. They probably purchased the doors as a cheap way to make the bench tops years ago when the company was first starting out. Ok for my garage.

Hi,

I made a fault with you.

When I cut the entry and exit of air from my control desk, were the parts.

1 - Rectangle: 265 mm x 140 mm
2 - Circle - 108 mm

Cutting speed: 6.000mm/min
Tool: 6 mm - 2 cuts

Module 1.5 - 22 teeth - no reduction (yet)
What do you think ?

Supplementing.

Do not cut until the end because I have not the tool to "reset" the table (but I have a JoyPad - EMC2 )

Thickness of MDF - 25mm

In principle yes.

What worries me are the marks in the rectangle.

As will best with the reduction (2.66:1 or 2.4:1) ?

I cannot clearly see marks on the rectangle. A reduction system will make no difference to the cut quality of a rectangle. For that, you must look at:

- is the spindle/router held firmly (strongly) in the machine? There is no movement when you push/pull on the collet?

- is the spindle/router running accurate and balanced?

- is the cutting tool straight and balanced?

A bigger diameter tool will give a better finish. Spiral cutter also better than staight.

Regarding the noise: a tip from a friend in Brazil, EMC2 setup to use the Gecko drive (although using a Smile ) and the noise decreased by 70% ... was not a mechanical problem ... but still not as quiet as other Mechmates I see on video ...

Simulation of cutting and drilling. Even with the previous setup.

It is acceptable, but only after the reduction.
