Stepper Motor Webinar
Hello,
I subscribe to a free information service from NASA. This thing showed up today: removed bad link It is a link to sign up for a free webinar titled: Applying Stepper Motors-Application Questions You Must Answer and Things to Watch Out For: This webinar will review some of the basic parameters necessary to properly select and apply stepper motor technology to motion applications. Topics included in this discussion will be a review of basic stepper speed-torque behavior including the stepper over-voltage ratio, a stepper in constant current operation vs. a stepper in voltage drive region, thermal ratings, the impact of winding changes on dynamic behavior, calculations and considerations for intermittent duty operation, motor/system accuracy, failure modes, and the application of all these criterion when applying stepper-based linear actuator product. I checked the link, and it does take you to the webinar site. roger Last edited by qroger; Tue 12 June 2012 at 10:31.. Reason: Additional information |

The webinar was really nice and explained all the stuff we all know and sometimes take as facts. Like: 20x supply voltage, 10 microstep as best setting, half winding connection etc...
There is a pdf to download but I saved it and can send it if anyone is interested. |
