Laser/Water cutting racks?

Its a good/bad idea to cut the rails using laser or waterjet if these cannot be sourced localy?

I can make very precise autocad/solidworks files if needed, take a look at the attachment.

I wouldn't try it because racks are easy and cheap to get here. With my experience of local suppliers, they will not be able to produce an acceptable rack. The surface quality will not be good enough and there will be big distortion and twists as it comes out of a sheet that has internal stresses.

back to searching... there is a big machining expo here in early april, will look/ask there Im sure I will find a machine with racks
