New PMDX-126

Hello everyone,
I'm just about to buy my BOB and PMDX have a new one on the market. According to the website it is a direct replacement for the PMDX-125. Is Anyone using it yet? Here is the link www.pmdx.com/PMDX-126.

Cheers Dale

The pmdx 122 works great for our application. You would need to figure out if double the cost of a 126 is worth the extra features.

The specifications of the PMDX-126 show that it is a very nice board if you need a lot of I/O and if you would need to use two PMDX-122 boards to get that amount of I/O. Personally, I would probably try one out if I were building a machine and if I had the extra money for that board.

One feature that might be useful is that it is capable of being powered by mains power. No need for an outboard dc power supply.

pmdx 126

Hello,
I have just bought a pmdx 126, pmdx108,2 x pmdx 103 and a smoothstepper for a mechmate build.
I have not finnished but what i can tell you so far is, that the 126 is a fairly large board so can fill a control box quick, the mains input is a good thing but it brings mains wiring close to the signals (i don't know if this will cause interferance yet) just something to think about, but if your goal is a fully featured MM then it has all the capabilities for 6 axis control and with a pmdx 108 output still has heaps of spare outputs for anything.

I used both, 125 and 126, they both work great, also used the plugin board pmdx 107 to control a huanyang vfd and it works nicely with mach3, did not even used all the input outputs, but for the difference compared to a pmdx122 I happily pay the extra $$$
