While I am not a facebook user myself, that is a good idea.
Have you thought about setting up a youtube channel for the Mechmate? A few good videos describing the machine and its construction might help spur more interest. Maybe some video contributions from other users could be added to show what it is capable of. I have tried to spread the word occasionally on some of the youtube channels I frequent when there is mention of someone wanting to buy a cnc router.

Yes
I do actually have that in the works as well. I have video content making the Z-slide and will be working to get it posted.
