[QUOTE=saas;60286]I need advice
I want to use this time to an un-geared Nema34 size stepper motor directly driving the pinion on the rack .. I have a gecko 203 drivers who could be the choice actually I would take M1343031 but it worries current of 7.1 A / phase while gecko 203v 7A provides max!? tx |

Set it as 7A and have no worries, on some drives the "steps" between current presets are 0.5A and it does not affect the motor too much.
With plenty of torque 6.8Nm you can spare a little and even derate a motor a little, with current set to 6.5Amp |

I know I responded to this. But do not see it .... hmmmm
M1343020 - This motor aligns more to some of the other motors at 623oz that we use in the build for both direct drive and belt drive. The other motor is over 960 oz in. and is a lot longer than the other motor. |
