suppliers for motors and electronics

Hi.
Can someone give me contact details for suppliers of motors and elecrtonics for my big MM that I am building. I will need to buy it in august and I need to know where I can get laser components tubes power suplly and so on.

Don't forget what Mr Taxman is going to hit you with once they land here plus the shipping of course and if there is a problem you have to deal with someone very far away - just saying look at all the hidden costs as well :-)

I have orderd from them before and it is not that bad still a lot cheaper than most of the other guys. I must just find a cheap suplier for linear shaft and bearings, I want to go away from the wheels on the machine. Hey can you help with the setup of the A axis motor on the X axis I can get it to turn. I need a step by step instruction on how to do this on mach3.

Try Hobytronics for stepper motors and drivers,breakout board and power supplies. I paid R850.00 for nema 34 stepper from them. Service exelent as well.

Go on youtube and search Mach tutorials also go here http://www.youtube.com/user/anajonesr?feature=watch for excellent videos on setting up the electronics of your cnc. I personally learn better by seeing so it helped my build my second control box. Here is another site for cnc accesories http://www.cnc-step.co.za/ also pm me if you need more info.

I found my problem I had the motor conected wrong on the bob al is running now. The control panel was quite easy to do.

How long have you had your machine now.

It running now for about 10 months. It has done some hard graft I have cut about 220.00 full sheets of MDF on her to date will stretch that with 20 more boards this coming week.

Ok that's good.
What do you cut that use so many boards.

What I wanted to ask is how do I post a pic and to look at all the pics that has been posted on the forum. I have uploaded a pic but don't know how to post. I find it deficult to navigate the forum page

Hey got it right.
The first pic is my control panel with the pc mounted in need to be tidy up
The second pic is a scaled down mm bed size 1000 x 600 I am still buzy building the big dady.

Paul there is no pic library.

I usually save any picture of interest or if I can't find it , ask in a appropriate thread if someone recalls where I could find the resource.
