It should but…Ask for a quote on those rail & the needed rollers (since the Dual-vee will not fit) and you’ll come back to the simple Dual-vee ones !!

Those rails are weak/flexible they need to be screwed to a strong/precison foundation before they function properly. A much more complicated and expensive system than what we have now. Feel free to use those sytems, but don't ask me to change the plans to accommodate them |

What is the difference between having the angle iron machined as opposed to hand grinding?
I would think the rails machined in a mill would bow and bend alot. what happens when you grind? How much heat is generated? |

Andy,
I machined my angle irons and to keep them from bowing and bending, I used a lot of clamps and took relatively light cuts. Still, they didn't turn out as good as I would have liked. The problems were not from bowing and bending but rather from the setup and slack in the mill table. I definitely think that grinding with the skate is the way to go. I'll grind my next MM rails. |

Ditto what Doug said. I had my rails machined because I couldn't grind them properly (The skate was under develpoment then, not the case today). My rails are fine, but not the quality I would have liked. I'll grind my own rails on the next build. |
