Messed up while cutting-grinding a rail

Hi guys,
Does anybody knows if 27mm rails will be ok? I spoiled the center of a rail...with a bump...and have to rectify the rails to 27mm instead of 28mm, is there any inconvinience ?

Hector if the spoiled area is small you can add mig weld and file the top back down flat , then continue grinding.

It is your choice whether welding or more grinding to 27mm. (The 27mm will also be okay)
