Step value?
It seems a common choice of motor is all-in-one with gear box having a ratio of 7.2. Also a common pinon on an output shaft is 36teeth. I went for mod 1.
Question, if most these common combinations result in steps that are not a nice round number, what step figures are you guy's using with your build? I found I had to use a fraction because rounding up to 0.015mm/s as per Mechmate excel sheet, produced to shorter cuts. giggler |
