Hey Brad. Since you're South African, I'm sure you already have a beard. If not, you need to start growing one.

I have it all.

Thank for the warm welcome.Yes I have a beard and the rest.Although I am originally from Zim, that were I grew up.I love wood and am in the solid wooden floor industry in SA . Most of the floors I lay are teak or rose wood strip flooring and decks. So once my machine is up and running I have a lot of beautiful wood to work with. Today the rest of the steel came for the table.

Nice work Brad. Would you not want some diagonal members in your front and back sections?

Nice little unit, and it copes well even though its only 1400 watts. They also have different size collets available 6, 8, 12, 1/4, 1/2 (10 is also listed but have not been able to get hold of one yet!). Easy to make a holder for it because of its round body. - I reccomend it if you cant afford a spindle yet...

I see you had a spot of rain also on the other side of JoBurg. We just had a really big storm passing our place a few minutes ago.
I see you have some capscrews holding your rack...don't you trust double sided tape ?
How is the gantry FLEX now or are you waiting to get the motors and springs on first ?

Nice going Brad,Make sure the spring doesn`t come of otherwise you are going to have a nice piece of wood stuffed.Bought the shirt the other day, funny thing is one start looking at the electrics for trouble shooting and don`t realize to look at grub screws or springs jumping off
