I know that much about steppers I had a cnc...
I know that much about steppers I had a cnc before, these would lock and heat up faster even when turned by driver on kitchen table, so no it was not problem with wires. something inside was not set...

I did not return them, it would be mission impossible from my country, just run them couple of days and they somehow unlocked, they were cheap and soon as my business turns out right I will buy new...
