Very nice models.

Do you have a link to free 3D models ie for Rhino from which i can work on it and slice it to create these wooden models?

Tried the technique with my small router using 5.4mm MDF. After the second try I got it, first one I made the gaps of 5.2mm and they were too tight, then I made the gaps 5.6mm and they meshed nicely.

It needs some more sanding, but its a nice object nevertheless:

Used 3mm MDF and 1/8" carbide endmill

Here is the DXF

it allows the charging/sync cable to be used, but its not comfortable to remove the cable and answer a call in a hurry because you need both hands

fabrun Wed 14 April 2010 12:58

very nice pablo
