See if this helps you.
There is some additional stuff that you don't need. |
first like to thank you found time for me and your explanation
http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/7816/npnsensor.jpg means, I have to have a power supply of 12 V DC!? which is most commonly used? |
Or 5v or 24v or other.
Personally, I ordered a power supply from Antek with: 56V tap for steppers 12V tap for prox circuit 5v tap for laser, led's |
I have a toroid trans output of about 30V and 9V/1A
can I use the 9v for pmdx-122 and prox? |
Most Prox are 12v/24v but to vary. For instance, you can order a version that is 10vdc-30vdc allowable. 9v might be low for the sensor to activate and sense properly.

hmm,
Then, without complicating remains (repeatedly presented) DC Switching Power Supply, Slim-line, DIN-rail mount, Plastic Case, 12V/4.2A Output, 85-264VAC Input Do you agree? |
4.2A (50VA)is too big... you can save easily 50% if you go for a 2A SMPS which is still too much capacity for just 3 proxy switches. If I remember off the back of my head, each swith is 200mA & a3x200ma=0.6A double safty factor (which is already way too much for such application) is 1.2A & triple the safety factor is 1.8A... Why don't you save the difference in price to get a 6-pack? :)

..on this data I'm not careful
thanks Ken |
