Hi new member

Hi I'm Rob.
I own a one man opperation guitar company in Adelaide, Australia. I'm looking at building a small machine to cut the body's out, around 3' x 4' x 2 1/2" cutting size hoping this machine can be down sized to fit the bill. I currently use a copying machine I made to make the bodys but as I need a body blank and the master side by side it takes up half my garrage not to mention that it is labour intensive.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Rob

I think I would go 4x4 at the smallest. That way you could cut half sheet ply.

Thanks, I should have mentioned that I mostly use solid timber and the structural ply I get comes in at 2 1\2" widths. I will concider the extra width though it could be handy for home improvement projects.

Some people are using a machine to cut their necks also.

I was going to try making necks and neck through body's once I had everything all worked out.
