Crating In the MM - Auckland, NZ

G'day community!

My name is Cameron, I am an Australian Civil Engineer working in Auckland, New Zealand. Keen electronics and programming hobbyist.

I have been following the Mechmate Project for ages now. I am looking in my old folders and I have files saved from here from back in 2008! Needless to say, the Mechmate is a project that I have been turning over in my head for a long time...

Not getting any younger, so I decided to strike forward and seriously do what I could to get my hands on a machine. I am sure I would have eventually started building, but I thought I should first ask around to see if anyone was selling.

Fortunately, I have stumbled upon (what I believe to be) a great deal. I have just bought my way into Mechmate ownership (paying the gold price not the iron price). I hope the rest of you who sweated and bled and swore to build your own machines might someday see me as an equal.

I will be sharing my adventures soon!
