Newbie to Mechmate
 

Hey all,

Im a newbie here so first of all hello to you all.

I have recently setup a company manufacturing radio controlled aircraft. I need to be able to machine prototypes out of EPP or Styrofoam in order to make composite moulds. This machine seems ideal given its size.

Does anyone know if there is anyone in the UK or even Europe that make a kit for this? And can anyone point me in the right direction for electronics, im aware of the hobbycnc electronics would these suit?

Any advice much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. There are at least a couple of builders in Europe (Kim Mortensen - Denmark and Pierre Grand - France) that are working on their machines. Check out the Personal Pages section of this forum for pics and more info. Then do a search for their posts. I believe someone was working on finding a supplier for the laser cut metal parts over there. I don't know about the electronics though.
