Its a dome for a dance floor. South African version of "burning man" in the Karoo (SA desert), i think its called "africa burns". its a film company that is building it. We helped them last year as well.

metal brackets and bolts hold the main 18mm structure together. its a flat pack dome!

I bet it would be sad to see your work go up in smoke .
Like I was sad to see our famous dome 20 story high burn in few minutes. Lukily no one was in at the time of the accident

I hope they do not build these from the same material anymore ,peoples would never have time to get out .Just like lighting up a ping pong ball
