Just though I'd pass this on - my spider plate was not quite perfectly bent and required about 20 minutes of bending and adjusting to make it completely flat. I'd be sure to check it for flat prior to welding on anything.

Same here though I ignored it and concentrated on getting the Z plate square to the world. It also required shimming to fit the Y car.
