Need opinion on round bar rails with roller

This is one solution for the rails which I found :

My question is: how much is the most allowed distance between the axes of the rollers and the axes of the module 1 pinion, as I donīt want to modify anything on the gantry.

Excuse my drawing.

You can find any tech description here for the rails http://www.lineare.ro/Catalogues/Hou...%20systems.pdf on page 33.

For the diameter of the rollers I will decide after I get the max dimensions between the axes.

What do you think?
Have a nice weekend.

What is the cost of those compared to the system we use?

80mm.

Also realise that, when the router is cutting with a heavy load, there is a big sideways (horizontal) force between the roller and the rail. What you have sketched will not be okay to carry such a horizontal force

New rails

Hennie ,

I do not know the cost yet, I wanted to know if it`s ok from the technical aspect first.

The sideway forces: That`s an interesting aspect, but of course my drawing does not show real groove and depth in the bearing.
The real position can be seen in the link I pointed in the thread before.

Thx
Claudiu

If you guys say it`s worth a try I will also ask for a quotation.
